Craft

My foundation is in character creation. Years of practice trained my eye to make decisions about form, proportion, materials, expression, and how those elements work together. I bring that judgment to how I set direction, review work, and help teams build a clear and consistent visual experience.

Nyx

Production-ready character

Material coherence across a complete design

I created the complete 3D interpretation of Nyx, working from an existing concept. The concept provided the foundation, but I developed the face, improvised parts of the costume, and resolved the different materials so the character would feel coherent as a finished, production-ready design.

3D interpretation by Sahana Vijai, based on “X,” an original character concept by Siwoo Kim.

Goblin

Complete 3D character

Fidelity to a supplied 2D design

I created the complete 3D character from a supplied 2D concept, with the intention of translating it as faithfully as possible into three dimensions. I was responsible for modeling, sculpting, topology, UVs, texturing, rigging for facial expressions and a partial pose, and the final presentation.

Orc

Original concept sculpt

Using form and asymmetry to create personality

I designed this original character as a concept sculpt. I used age, asymmetry, proportion, and expression to give the orc a specific personality and move the design beyond a familiar archetype.
